Family Activity: Exploring the Conventional RIASEC Theme

Purpose: Explore and discuss the Conventional RIASEC theme.

Materials Needed:

  • A device to watch the video linked below
  • Pen/paper for tally marks or resource below

Steps:

1. Choose a Video:

  • Pick one video below based on your child’s age.

2. Watch the Video:

  • Make a tally mark every time you see or hear something that interests your child.

3. After the Video:

  • Count the tally marks.
  • Discuss as a family:
    • Do family members have a similar number of Conventional tally marks?
    • What are some Realistic activities that you would enjoy doing?
